A Gift for you from Sami Aaron

How would you like a full day of rest & relaxation in nature?

Would you love a day to find your breath and embody all the seasonal delights of autumn?

How about time to step aside from the everyday world and step into a day of emotional and mental healing?

I’ve had so many requests for another nature retreat – this is your last opportunity in 2017 to get the full-on benefits of a day of The NatureProcess® out in the rolling hills of rural Paola!

And to make this event even more enticing, your attendance will benefit the Veterans Yoga Project during Veterans Gratitude Week to enable yoga teachers to support recovery and resilience among our veterans, families, and communities.

AND Brenda Wrischnick, owner of Hoot Owl Hill, has offered to donate the cost of meals for any military personnel who attend this retreat.

That’s right – your donations will benefit others through the Veterans Yoga Project AND veterans in the KC area are invited to attend this “R & R in Nature” event at no charge!!

Please pass the word.
Send veteran registration to sami@beingontosomething.org.

Non-Military? Choose your Meal Option and Register here:

Lunch Only: $15.00 + tax and handling fee = $16.63
Dinner Only: $20.00 + tax and handling fee = $22.18
Lunch & Dinner: $30.00 + tax and handling fee = $33.27
Deadline date to register is Tuesday Oct 31st.

Here’s how our R & R event will work:

Come to the glorious retreat site at Hoot Owl Hill in Paola for as many hours as you’d like on Friday 11/3 between 9am & 9pm.  You decide when and how much time you’d like to spend reveling in autumn!

Bring extra cash/check payable to “Veterans Yoga Project” to make a donation to support the Veterans Yoga Project which trains yoga teachers to share the wisdom of mindful resilience to returning and active military through their Mindful Resilience/Mindful Yoga Therapy program.

I am donating my time for the full day and all The NatureProcess, yoga, and meditation gifts I will be sharing to lift you up while you support others … Please consider as the amount of your donation what you would have paid me for this all day event.

And in The NatureProcess tradition, I will also make a contribution on behalf of each person who attends to give a month’s worth of protection to a fruit tree for a poor family in rural India. Tree guards help protect and increase the survival rates of fruit trees and provide sustainable income for families living below the poverty line in rural India. This impact is through B1G1 – Doing Business for Good.

Here’s the schedule for the day:

9am – Arrive, settle in, meander the gardens, beverages are available all day – please bring your own reusable bottle
10am – Very gentle “Natural Body” yoga with a “Natural Presence” guided visualization
noon – Lunch (pre-register above!)
3pm – Natural Attractions and Natural Communication
5:30pm – Dinner (pre-register above!)
6:18pm – Sunset overlooking the lake
7pm – Experience Your 54 Senses around the fire pit – see how all your senses come alive after the sun goes down!
8:30pm – Closing thoughts

There will be plenty of time to tap into the change of seasons, as nature gets ready for winter through the vineyards, perennial gardens, vegetable beds, and walking paths in the woods. Maybe you just want to take a nap by the lake!  It’s a full day to nurture whatever is tugging at your heartstrings.

What should you bring?

We will be meeting either outside or in the Hoot House (a covered tent with space heater if it’s cold).  There will be a fire going most of the day in the big fire pit and beverages will be available all day.
